McDonald Wholesale Company, Oregon’s premiere food and restaurant supply distributor, has been recognized by the Oregon Restaurant and Lodging Association (ORLA) as associate member of the year. This award is given to one company annually to recognize outstanding performance, service and commitment to the hospitality industry in Oregon.
McDonald Wholesale is a long-time sponsor and member of ORLA, and in addition to donations and attending events, also hosts food and beverage permit classes taught by ORLA representatives. McDonald is also supporting the local economy through over 10% growth in 2016. McDonald Wholesale was one of only three food distributors in the U.S. to have double digit growth last year.

The award will be presented during the ORLA Convention in Bend on October 8th at an awards dinner honoring all the recipients. In 2016, Eugene-based owners of Hole in the Wall BBQ, were recognized as restauranteurs of the year. The awards dinner is part of ORLA’s annual convention for restaurant and hospitality leaders and peers in Oregon.
